If you desire some privacy in a forest setting, a good sense of living space then the Crest Cabin is a nice choice for your group. Situated just 1/4 mile from Heavenly Ski Resort and close to the casinos, this cabin is very convenient to all local attractions. With three bedrooms and two baths (1 shower only + 1 bath tub only), the cabin comfortably sleeps a maximum of 8 people. In addition to the main living area with leather sectional couch and chair, plus front deck and TV/VCR/DVD player, there is a delightful family room downstairs. Here you will find another great living space with a second TV, a wet bar and a sleeper sofa. This level also has the largest bedroom and with a King bed with more forest views. There are two bedrooms on the main living level, one with a Queen and one with 2 Twins. Enclosed porch off Master Bedroom has a private Jacuzzi with forest views.One bathroom on the main living level has a bathtub only (no shower) and the lower level bathroom has a shower only (no tub). Full size washer/dryer, wood burning fireplace, double car garage with parking for a max of 4 cars. Gas BBQ is stored for winter season; however a Weber BBQ is available in the garage for guest use. Maximum Occupancy is 8.

THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THE CLOTHES DRYER. IT TOOK HOURS TO DRY A LOAD OF CLOTHES NOT TO MENTION HOW LOAD A LOAD OF TOWELS TOOK. IT WOULD SAVE THE OWNER A LOT OF ELECTRICITY IF THEY WOULD REPLACE THE DRYER.

The cabin is great for two small families or two couples. The location was great. Close to town and to Heavenly. We will definately stay there again.

We loved the location and layout of the cabin. The problems with this cabin is that everything is old, many things are broken or missing altogether. There are windowcoverings missing or non-operational, thwe kitchen is not well supplied and the dishes were put back in the cabinets dirty. The kitchen is small and very dark. Some of the heater strips don't work or are falling apart (master bdrm is falling apart, downstairs familyroom and bath don't heat). There were next to no supplies like laundry detergent, papertowels, tissue. We have stayed in a Tahoe Tyrol home for the past 3 years and never experienced the problems this house has. There are no extra light bulbs and the porch light was out. Those are dangerous stairs to take in the dark and we had no snow. The upstairs couch needs pillows to watch TV comfortably, and why did they take out the fireplace upstairs??? Who is going to sit downstairs alone? This could be a GREAT cabin if it was updated with some lighting and repaired.

Very close to all casinos and right next to heavenly. Furnishings seem like they havent been updated since 70's :) but we loved it. Nice to have 2 living spaces and a fun bar area. You will need 4 wheel drive in winter.
The Crest was the Best.

Hi Accomodation Station, sorry for the late reply. We had a great time in Heavenly, and loved our cabin. We made lots of local friends and had a few parties at Crest and they all commented on how nice the place was.
May I suggest some more lighting in the rooms, maybe some brighter lamps, and I reckon a removable sky light over the jacuzzi would really add to the atmosphere.
Loved the BBQ and the bar (which got used extensively).
We will be back, Accommodation Station.

The house was just perfect. Close to everything. We loved the fire place and bar area down stairs. This was perfect with having a 4 year old in the house.
The ladies at Accommodation Station were very helpful and made us feel very welcome.
We were so pleased we are planning to return next year and hopefully get the same house.

I love this house and it is now the 3rd time that we have stayed there, its location is perfect for skiing but also very quiet, we have made some good friends at heavenly and it is really nice to have them over in the evening for dinner. We would definetly come back again and hope that this property remains on your rental properties as it feels like home when we are there, many thanks.

We had a wonderful stay in Sth Tahoe. The house at Crest was roomy, warm and comfortable. Before we recommended it to anyone else we would suggest the following:
a/ The lighting in most areas was very poor and dated. The kitchen lights are insufficient. The lights in any location are not suitable for reading or doing any work. We had to go and purchase a portable quartz halogen table light to provide better lighting for work (computer), reading, games etc.
The lights in the master bedroom were the most inappropriate. Reading was almost impossible. The main light switch didn't work.
b/ For a skiing location - there was no drying room for ski-gear. We were asked to not bring wet gear inside so the only alternative was to either put them in the jaccuzzi area - too far and out of the way or the garage, where everything froze. A small drying room would be a very usual addition.
c/ No plug for the kitchen sink.
While these were minor things, our stay in South Lake Tahoe was fantastic and our skiing at heavenly - out of this world.

Renting through Accomodation Station Rentals was a wonderful experience. The actual reservation was taken by a very enthusiastic staff member, the communication leading to our stay was excellent, the written information was provided to us timely and the support while we were in Lake Tahoe was great. I would rent again from them. The house was comfortable, had all we needed,and is about 5 minutes from Heavenly. Could not have asked for a better trip.

We had a great stay at the clean and spacious Crest Cabin. The check-in process was easy and directions were clear. It was snowing and we got stuck on the steep hill right before the cabin - so be prepared if it is snowing. The spa was in great condition and the kitchen had everything necessary to cook nice meals. The grill came in handy for BBQ and the location was private. We would definitely go back.

Great place. The solo couch/recliner was falling apart from the right side and had a hard time reclining. Otherwise the jacuzzi was nice. As usual, Tahoe Lodging staff was incredible.

We would stay there again the only real complaint I have was the floor heaters were missing their end caps and the covers would not stay on. They kept falling down and they are right in the main walkway. One person in our party cut her foot because the edges were sharp and didn't have a cover... The cabins location was great and we enjoyed the living area upstairs and down stairs. It worked great for us and we would stay there again - however, I would like to see the heater issue fixed - we were lucky it was an adult that cut their foot and not a child...I do think this is a safety issue.

This was the first time I have ever rented a cabin from anyone and I was blow away with how easy accomidation station made it on me. I didnt have to do hardly anything but stop by for about one minute and pick up my keys. When I was done I just dropped my keys back off at there drop box and I was on my way.
The house was n great shape and in a perfect location. I do wish they would show better maps but I was able to figure it out useing google maps.
All in all the stay went great and I couldnt have asked for it to have gone any smoother.

overall we enjoyed our stay. the location was great. the only thing was that the hot tub didn't get hot enough. also maybe you could suggest to the owner to add a shower head to the upstairs bathroom. other than that no complaints.
