Golf course views, large backyard and double decks are yours with this ranch style home backing up to the Bijou Golf Course. The owner had purchased the home for their larger family gatherings and the floor plan works perfectly for this. The expansive working kitchen with an island adjoins the dining area. The living area wraps around to two large picture windows with the golf course view and a wood burning fireplace.. Furnishings throughout are comfy and updated. The master bedroom has a small sitting area. Although all one level, please note that there are 5 steps from the garage to the door for those that may have limited mobility. For anyone who may have rented this home previously, the current owners no longer offer the Jacuzzi.

The pictures online for this house are not very flattering but they may have fixed that by now. The main thing to remember when first entering the house is 'don't panic!'. The first small room has a concrete floor and barren walls and my first thought was that I made a big mistake on the house. Just ignore that and keep walking!

The kitchen is nice with a large table that easily seated 8 at dinner. The appliances are fine. Large open living room with windows to the back toward the golf course. The 3 main bedrooms have nice sized beds and are pretty comfortable. 1 shared bathroom and 1 attached to the master bedroom.

The detached garage easily fits 2 cars and then another 2 fit in the driveway so there is plenty of parking.

The location is very nice. The house is literally right on the golf course and just a few blocks away from a Safeway so you can get whatever shopping you need done. About 2 miles away from the stateline area in case you decide to walk back since it is New Year's and you can't find a cab.

Gripes: The hot water takes some time to get going. However once it is going there seemed to be plenty of it. The TV in the living room is fairly small and old but we didn't use that very much. There isn't a convenient way to play music for your group so consider bringing something if you want that. The first room you enter (mentioned above) has a small bedroom attached to it; it is difficult to get a nice temperature in this room without cooking the rest of the house.

Overall very happy with this house. Fill it up with 8 people and you have a nice place to stay for a low price per person. We were comfortable and happy.
