Enjoy expansive meadow & mountain views that seem to go on forever. Relax and watch the Upper Truckee River flow by at the edge of the property. This floor plan is designed to take in the great outdoors with a very accommodating back deck that overlooks the meadow, mountains and river. The deck includes all the extras, stainless gas BBQ, bar and seasonal deck furniture. This rental consists of a main home in contemporary decor recently remodeled and an adjacent cottage with a pool table, wet bar and futon and 2nd bathroom. Small groups or families will be delighted with this find. The main home includes a welcoming entry and beautiful views as soon as you walk in the front door. Recently redecorated with all the luxuries and comforts of home. Enjoy the views as you relax by the elegant fireplace in the living room. A spiral staircase leads to 1 private bedroom upstairs with a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom area is open at the top of the stairway with two twin beds. Double sleeper sofa in the living room. Designer kitchen with all the latest appliances. Laundry and 1 bath. In addition to the main home, a few steps away, there is a separate cottage. Here you will enjoy the scenic views from your lounge chair on the patio outside. Inside you will enjoy a sitting and/or sleeping area, a pool table, second bath and a wet bar with a small refrigerator. Bedding arrangements in main house. Cottage has a queen futon. Unique bedding arrangement for up to 6 people. The main house is also available for 2 persons only, without the separate cottage, for a reduced rate. All the comforts of home in a picturesque setting!
Cute compact place with a nice deck and side cottage with pool table makes this a pretty good choice. Areas for improvement are the mattresses on the beds, dusting and cleanliness of throw rugs

Overall, we had a very nice stay at this property. We were not expecting to deal with the amount of snow we encountered, but the cabin had adequate heat and was cozy to hang out in and watch the snow coming down. The only heat in the bathroom in the main cabin was a small space heater that didn't seem to quite do the trick -- it was very cold. The only other negative comments would be that the queen bed upstairs was not very comfortable and the window coverings throughout could be better quality.
The kitchen was very well equipped and everything else was adequate for our needs. Would like to see the place when it's not under 4' of snow.

When we first drove up!! I was a little skeptical!! But when we walked in the front door WOW!! The view is amazing!! You are right in the middle of town, but yet you feel like you are in the middle of a quiet forest complete with a little stream running below the property!! The deck at this cabin is a huge reason to come here!!! I think we will come back in the summer!! The home is very clean and cozy and the game room is a big bonus!! We loved it!!!

I stayed at an Accomodation Station rental house with my sister and two friends during our week at the Spanish Intensive. The house was comfortable, had all we needed for a very pleasant stay and had a back balcony that looked over a beautiful meadow. A very pleasant experience.
This place is the most beautiful house i've ever been rented. It's very neat, cute, accommodating, homey. This house is highly recommended!!!

We've been to different places in and out the US, and never rent a house on all our stay. This was the first we ever rented a house and we were impressed of the design of the house - it was different from all the houses around the area. It was indeed the most beautiful house we've ever seen. My children like the house very much - the patio, kitchen, the stairs :-) especially the pool table in the other unit. My husband and I are surely coming back in the winter time.

This cabin was far superior to what the pictures or even the front of the cabin would suggest. Very well kept and extremely clean. The cabin has all you would wish for. The cottage is great, offering extra space and a pool table for entertaining. But nothing beats the gorgeous deck and its beautiful landscape of trees and nature. We loved stargazing on the deck! Would love to visit again!
as in everytime I come there it has al that we expected. The weather worked in our favor as well. The snow and when it did and stopped was a blessing as this was exactly what my children were looking forward to. All things fell into place.

Loved this place. It was super cute and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked. It had tons of bedding. I loved the guest house too. The only downside was I couldn't get the hot water to work in the shower in the guest house, and the shower drain would clog. I informed the accommodation station, though, so, hopefully it will be fixed. Overall a great experience.
We absolutely fell in love with this place, our boys love it too!

Nice little place to stay. Would stay there again. Came up there with 4 buddies and we had a good time. Pros: Only 10 mins to the casinos by car. Pool table. Nice little casita. Love the back deck and the views to the meadow. Cons: Complimentary coffee, but could have used sugar or sweetner. Boombox in casita could be updated as a nice perk. It would not play CDs well at all. Shower in casita only dispensed cold water. Cable TV had super limited channels. Like lower than standard basic cable that we could tell.

The place was awesome. The back deck was something to behold. The only thing was that we were a little close to our neighbors, definitely the nicest place on the block, however no neighbors were there though. The game room was great and we had two people

The River Cabin is a beautiful little house with unique valley views in South Lake Tahoe. Their was record heat while we were there, so it was diffcult to keep the upstairs cool. Overall a very nice place, a short distance to the lake and many of the activities of South Lake Tahoe.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the River Cabin. I searched for a long time for the perfect place for my husband and I to stay for our much needed three day weekend away. I was thrilled to discover Accommodation Station, and especially the River Cabin! It provided us the perfect location- near town. Yet it felt as though we were away from everything with the view of the meadow and the mountains. The cabin was clean, charming, and felt like a second home. It was the perfect size for just the two of us, but would be able to accommodate another couple or family easily! We plan to return again for sure! The staff at Accommodation Station were friendly and helpful. They made the rental process very easy. It was very convenient to pick up the keys to the cabin even after hours. It was truly a wonderful experience by far! I would recommend it to anyone!
We had a good time at this property. The cottage that is addition to the property was a plus. This DISH Network wasn't working at the time we stayed there. We brought the Wii Game with us, and were very entertained.

This cabin was stocked with everything needed for a relaxing vacation. They even had a hill on the side with sleds for snow play. It was close to everything. We enjoyed the cottage with the pool table. There is a fully stocked full kitchen and washer and dryer. The two bedrooms upstairs were very comfy. Although the stairs leading was quite tight. I would have wished for a tv upstairs as there was only 1 tv in the main house. There is also 1 tv in the cottage, which we could never get to work. Bring your DVD's. I will definitely come back.

House was fine, well-furnished, comfortable, an A-frame. The only drawback was that the bedrooms were upstairs, and the ceiling slanted down sharply since it was an A-frame. The way the queen-size bed was placed, it was quite easy to collide with the ceiling upon sitting up or getting into bed. Other than that, it was fine.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to South Lake Tahoe and our stay at River Cabin. The cabin was very cosy and had wonderful views over the meadow to the mountains. The only slight problems we had were that there was no patio heater, as illustrated on the web advert so this reduced our chance to eat outside and enjoy the decking. Also, the living room sofa bed was not the most comfortable and perhaps requires a little maintainance.
Otherwise we had a fab holiday and can't wait to visit again next year. We do, of course, hope to use Accommodation Station again due to their efficiency and excellent service.

OF TOWELS, BLANKETS, AND THINGS IN KITCHEN. IT HAS CABLE AND FREE WIFI WHICH WAS A PLUS. THE LIVING ROOM HAS A STEREO ALSO. THE BACK DECK WAS AMAZING WITH PLENTY OF SEATING AND A GRILL. WE ALSO RENTED THE GUEST HOUSE WHICH WAS EQUIPPED WITH BATHROOM WITH SHOWER,
LOUNGE AREA, AND MINI KITCHEN. THAT GUEST ROOM WAS ALSO LARGE AND NICELY DECORATED AS WELL. EASY CHECK IN VERY FRIENDLY, AND EASY CHECK OUT WILL BE RENTING AGAIN!
