We loved Ruby cabin which was close to town and Heavenly. Everything is spotless and it was the best way to spend a cosy vacation week!

The cabin was amazing. It felt like a home away from home. Also, the outdoor jacuzzi was great. The only problem was the road leading to the drive way. The road slopes sharply so after it snowed many cars, including our own, lost traction and slide down to the bottom even with snow chains on. The locals told us that they avoided that road altogether when it snowed. Everything else about the cabin made up for the inconvenience however.

you must do something about the ice on the driveway and walk way-I had a severe fall-the ice was old and long standing-if there was no ice and I hadn't fallen I would have had a great time-charles

Wonderful place to stay. Pretty sure it was less than a mile to Heavenly. Great little rental place nearby (Rip'n Willies) and you can't beat relaxing in a hot tub after a full day of skiing. Absolutely loved it.

Property was clean, quiet and comfortable, so it did the trick and I was happy with my stay. Unit is a duplex. Visitors expecting newer fixtures & furniture might be disappointed. The interior was fine (everything worked and was clean) but definitely aging...from the carpet to the bathroom to the furniture everything is showing its many years of service. If you are looking for a place to crash this is a good value. If you are looking to be pampered with good decor, newish fixtures/furniture, and a touch of luxury this is not a good choice.

This is a place where lots of people with dogs stay so if you are looking for a clean place, this may not be for you. Much to my suprise, the hot tub was clean. However if you do have a dog, this is a great location...a 20 min walk to the lake or some hiking trails. As I mentioned the staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. Warning: be prepared for an additional $100-120 non-refundable fees that I am told are standard with all vacation rentals. So this cabin cost me almost $245 per night...and I know I could have stayed at a much nicer place for that amount. I hope you find this review helpful.

The cabin was nice, conveniently located and the owners have made improvements based on visitors' observations. We would've liked more lamps/higher wattage lightbulbs in the living room (hard to read in the evening), and a little more cleaning/dusting, but overall we were pleased with the rental. The management at Accomodation Station was VERY helpful and courteous - we'll definitely rent through them again!

We had a great stay in South Lake Tahoe in Ruby Cabin. Even though we arrived in Heavenly after office hours the key and directions were easily found. This meant our long journey from the UK didn't end in tears! The location was perfect, the cabin was cosy and suited our needs really well, and the hot tub was just what we needed after a good day on the slopes. The 7 feet of fresh snow that dumped on our 3rd day was also absolutely fantastic!
I would definitely recommend Ruby Cabin to friends and would like to return in the future. Thank you Accommodation Station.

We were there when there was lots of snow, so it felt isolated from the street. There may've been a fence under that snow for the summer privacy. Cooking our food in that kitchen saved some $, making it equal price to some hotel stay, eating at restaurants and it was our little home for those days.
I would stay again!

The only con we have is the drive way and deck had alot of ice on them. You have to be very carefull not to fall not sure what could be done foer it. We enjoyed or stay and are planing to come back in summer.

Great property - we were two adults and two children - two single beds or bunks would have been a bonus but we coped. great facilities, master queen squeeks a little - hope we didn't wake the kids.

What a fantastic location for discovering all that the lake offers. Ruby Cabin was easy to get to, and was the perfect location for Heavenly and activities in South Lake and beyond. Whilst Heavenly is a short drive away, we walked to the lake in 11 minutes. There are some decent restaurants within walking distance, and the hot tub will be awaiting your return! It's not flash but the location (on the edge of a pine forest, and close to the lake) will more than make up for it. Excellent service and advice from Accommodation Station also!

Love Ruby Cabin! It is close enough to walk to town, but also secluded for quiet and privacy. Very comfortable house and the jacuzzi was much appreciated after running my first marathon. We enjoyed it very much and will return.
