Check-in Location: 2516 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. Our rental office is located in the cozy little house at the corner of Highway 50 ( Lake Tahoe Blvd) and Stockton. Click here for directions and a map to our office.
Check-in Time: 4PM. Lock Box instructions will be provided with contract for after hours arrival. HOLIDAY RESERVATIONS: Check in is also at 4PM with the same lock box information for after hours arrivals
Check-out Time: NOON. Check out after 12PM without prior front desk approval is subject to additional charges. HOLIDAY RESERVATIONS: Check out time is:10:00 AM. This very busy season of arrivals and departures does not allow for any late check outs.
Occupancy: Maximum Occupancy in the unit is strictly enforced. An Authorized Guest List is required and part of the contract that will be provided at booking. Over occupancy is not permitted and if violated per your contract, you will be required to leave the premises and to pay any fines levied by the government.
Parking: The maximum number of vehicles will be noted on the contract as well as within the property description. Please carefully review this information carefully especially when booking some of our larger properties that do have some restrictions. Parking for visiting guests is not permitted in the street during snow removal season. Most properties have parking for 2 to 3 vehicles. Overflow parking is available at the parking garage located at Park Ave and Montreal adjacent to the Mariott Residence at Stateline.
Mimimum Stay Requirements: Two (2) night minimum stays are required, except over holidays periods when minimum stay requirement are longer. HOLIDAY RESERVATIONS: Christmas reservations ( arrival 12/22-24) require a four (4) night minimum stay. New Years reservations (arrival 12/26 or later) require a five (5) night minimum stay. We are unable to honor any arrivals or departures on Christmas Day. Holiday rates for 2007 begin December 20th and and winter rates begin January 3, 2008.
Payment Schedule: Deposits may be made by MasterCard, VISA or American Express. 50% ( fifty per cent) is due at the time of booking. The balance is due 30 ( thirty) days prior to arrival. HOLIDAY RESERVATIONS: Final payments and pre-paid Security Deposits are due by November 15th.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds are issued at 70% (seventy per cent) for cancellation prior to 30 (thirty) days of arrival. No refunds are issued for cancellations placed within 30 (thirty) days of arrival. HOLIDAY RESERVATIONS: Final payments due by November 15th, all payments are non-refundable after November 15th.
Trip Cancellation Insurance: May be purchased through our office and is issued through an independent carrierr: CSA Travel Protecton. The premium is 6.5% of total costs. Some restrictions may apply. Please feel free to contact the carrier directly at 866.999.4018 or visit their site at www.VacationRentalInsurance.com if you have any specific questions regarding coverage.
Pets: We do have a few dog friendly properties. These will be noted within the property descriptions. A refundable security deposit of $300.00 ( in lieu of Damage Waive Insurance) is required.
Security Deposit or Damage Waiver Insurance: Damage Waiver Insurance covers up to $500.00 in unintentional damage or breakage, which must be reported to our office prior to your departure. The cost of this coverage is $30.00-$75.00, depending on the property and is included with the rental quote In lieu of the Damage Waiver Insurance you may chose to pay the refundable cash Security Deposit of $300.00-$500.00 (depending on the property), however any damages will be charged against the Security Deposit. HOLIDAY RESERVATIONS: Guests staying the night of Dec 31st will be required to pay the Security Deposit as the Damage Waiver Insurance is unavailable for that time period. Please also note that for several of our properties, the Security Deposit is required for all stays.
Supplies: Starter sets of soaps, toilet paper and paper towels are provided. You may want to bring or locally purchase additional supplies to last your entire stay. We do not provide firewood, however it may be purchased from any of our local groceries stores.
Firewood: All properties have either a fireplace or a woodstove. For enviornmental reasons, many fireplaces have been converted to gas log. You may review the property description to find out the type of fireplace your property offers. For wood burning fireplaces and stoves, wood can be purchased locally.
Housekeeping: A departure cleaning fee is included with your rental quote. Daily maid service and linen changes are not included with this fee. When you arrive, the beds are made and the towels are set. One set for the maximum occupancy of the property is provided. Towels for the beach, pool or jacuzzi are not provided. Not all, but most properties feature a washer/dryer for your convenience.
