Due to the facts that 1) we have received 150 inches of snow and, 2) Kirkwood Ski Resort is now part of the family, Vail Resorts is offering free skiing for the rest of the season if you purchase a 2012-13 Epic Pass, Tahoe Value Pass, or the New Tahoe Local Pass. The pass has to be paid in full, but this is a chance to close the season with a bang by skiing three of the best resorts around the Tahoe Basin, Heavenly Mountain Resort, Northstar California Resort, or Kirkwood Mountain Resort.
Originally slated to close on April 15, both Heavenly and Kirkwood are staying open for extended weekends, Friday – Sunday, until the end of April.
So if you don’t have a pass for next year and you want to be able to ski the best resorts, this is a great opportunity to start next season early.
Those who purchase the Tahoe Value Pass or the new Tahoe Local Pass before April 15 will receive six buddy tickets for friends and family for next season. The passes also provides special access for sightseeing and gondola rides.
